Zoho Pagesense is an application from the Zoho suite that is very interesting, but above all very useful.

How does Zoho Pagesense work?
Introduction to Zoho Page Sense
- Zoho Page Sense is a web analytics tool that allows you to analyze user traffic and behavior.
- It allows you to create specific measurements such as pages reached, time on page, navigation flow or clicks on certain elements.
- It allows you to create customizations for AB testing: create different views or layouts of the page to evaluate which of them is better accepted by users.
To be able to analyze and make measurements we need to know the possibilities and how to make the measurements. Before we must create a project but Zoho creates one by default. If we want to group certain analyzes for a particular reason, it is convenient to create a new project.

Acquisition
This first panel allows us to see the web traffic in its entirety.
In the dimension section we can see the traffic by channel, source, or medium from which the users come. It also offers metrics such as the “Bounce Rate” or bounce rate, the average time on page and the achievement of objectives “Goal”. In the latter case, a dropdown appears to select the objective to be measured. Currently only "clicks on product thumbnails” from the home page and time on page (time > 120 seconds) but a large number of conversions can be configured as we will see later.
In the upper right part you have the "Segment audience" button to choose the type of user, access device, urls, date and time of access... that you want to analyze.
Behavior or user behavior
In this option we can see the same metrics as in acquisition but focused on the urls of the page, differentiating between the landing pages y exit pages (pages since the user leaves the web).
Zoho Page Sense Goals
In this section we create events or objectives that we want to measure. They are mainly based on 4 types.
- Element clicking (via css ID or CLASS)

- Event
Depending on the type of target to be measured, different settings are required.
Currently configured 3 objectives.
- Contact: click on each of the 3 elements of the contact page, email, whatsapp and phone (via class CSS)
- time on page: more than two minutes on the web is considered a conversion
- click on products: number of clicks on the product thumbnails on the home page.
- Catalog Download: number of times a catalog is downloaded.
* It is convenient to check that the objectives are well created.

This option allows us to record conversions when users follow a certain path on the web.
Example: Step 1:: home page / Step 2:: certain product / Step 3:: purchase acknowledgments page.
Heat maps
It allows us to study user behavior on pages. Areas where you click, displacement scroll or areas of more attention.
Currently set for all pages. It is recommended to limit the study to a group of finished pages. Example: if we have a product that has many visits but we do not convert, it is advisable to apply a heat map to that url to study why the user does not make the purchase. Form analysis
Section to be able to measure the interaction with the form.
To activate this option we must enter the url where the form is hosted and click on get forms. They can also be obtained manually. You need to enter the confirmation page.
Session recording
It allows real-time recording of user interaction on the web. It is recommended to record certain urls that we want to analyze.
Similar to the heat map but in real time.
AB tests
One of the most interesting usability analysis options.
It consists of creating a new design, editing directly in Zoho Page Sense. This new design will be shown to a group of users, for example, to users who come from ads, the purchase buttons will have a red color.
As we can see, being able to directly edit the HTML. But this does not modify the design of the web, but rather creates a virtual copy that Zoho serves with a different design. Another example of AB Test is to eliminate the header, footer and other elements that can distract the user in the purchase process.
Split Url Test
It consists of performing a Split-test (divided URL) on two or more web pages with different designs to see which one generates the most conversions.
Personalization.
Similar to Test AB but it does not divide the design by a % of user, it directly shows the design of the customization to the type of user chosen.
We select a target audience, for example Google Ads visitors, choose a target and the custom design is shown to them.
Surveys, Notifications and Pop-ups
Zoho Page Sense allows you to create these types of events and display them to users at certain times.
It is possible to select the type of user and device where we want to show these elements.
The surveys serve to obtain the user's opinion on some specific aspect of the use of the web.
Pop-up windows are pop-ups that we can use on certain occasions and under certain conditions.
Finally, push notifications are messages that are fired when a certain event or goal is met, for example, when the user downloads.
